light — Branding
Light is a branding design for a fictional conference. The object of this design was to create a cohesive brand that represented the idea of light and shadow. This project was playful experimentation that led to an unexpectedly great outcome. I played with shadows and photography using it organically to morph typography. From a cutout of the word light, I twisted and changed the angle to get different shapes and configurations of the word. The logo was derived from one of the iterations and is used throughout the system. I purposely added cutouts to the name tags and booklet to give users an interactive experience and inspire them to play with the shadows.
